Design
What does design work at TEKAB involve?
Design at TEKAB means producing complete documentation for electrical, telecom, control and monitoring systems. The work is done in AutoCAD MEP with the MagiCAD electrical application, which gives coordinated models and drawings that can be built from without reinterpretation on site.
Electrical and telecom system design
Power, lighting, data, telecom and security systems, from system documentation through construction documents to as-built drawings.
Control and monitoring system design
Control, regulation and monitoring for the building's installations, including functional descriptions and operating charts.
Lighting calculations and visualisations
Calculations in the latest version of Dialux Evo, for indoor environments as well as arena and outdoor lighting.
Feasibility studies
When the conditions are unclear, we assess options, consequences and rough cost before the project is locked down.
Inspection
When do you need an inspection?
An inspection is needed when an installation is being handed over and you want an independent statement confirming that it matches the documentation, the requirements and the intended function. We inspect electrical and telecom systems as well as control and monitoring systems, and document any deviations so they can be corrected.

What can TEKAB take responsibility for in a project?
We can take project management and coordination responsibility for the technical disciplines, produce budget and production estimates, measure and improve energy use, and issue energy performance certificates. The assignment can run through the whole project or be limited to a single question.
